i know its been awhile since my last post but I found it, the ultimate tea. I have been drinking it daily now. Yes I will share it with you the freshpak red tea rooibos. I love it the flavor is very distinct and tasty and I recommend it to everyone. Also for a red tea the price is very reasonable.

Green Tea Mixed With Pomagranite

It has a great taste, its quite sour and gives the brew a very red look. I was surprised how good it tastes and I do recommend it. It is a tea bag styled tea but I still recommend it even though it is green tea the pomegranate over powers it and gives it a different taste.

The Yerba

I broke down and bought the Amanda brand it was good. I think I was a little to arrogant saying that the Cruz De Malta was better.

Licorice Tea

Just sipping on a nice smooth cup of hot licorice tea. It has a great smooth flavor to it, its a tea i would strongly recommend if you are looking for something thats not caffeinated but still a great treat.

Mild Tea

The Turkish tea is real mild but a lot of people tend to prefer it. I've included a few pictures of the stuff that I drink.

Flavored Yerba

I would advise most people to stay clear of the flavored, but if you really cannot stand the taste of the tea then you should go with flavored Yerba. The orange tastes the best the others are just kinda plain. I did drink apple it was good but it got old really quick. It wasn't something that I think I would continue to keep trying on a regular basis.

Yerba Mate Brands The Good and the Bad

Well like all things you have the really good brands of the tea and you got the stuff that taste awful hahha. Today I will actually be picking up 3 pounds of Yerba. Let me tell you a few brands to stay clear of. Rosamonte, it's absolutely awful this one had a real bad flavor to it. Cruz De Malta is not bad for the price, its around 4 to 6 dollars US for a nice big bag, its got a nice flavor but its still not the best. Amanda is a brand that I do recommend it's right there with the Cruz De Malta but I was never a huge fan of it. The brand I recommend and the most popular brand throughout the world is Taraguay, its got a superb taste to it. It's a great deal if you can get a hold of some. I recommend it, a friend of mine who has been drinking Yerba for over 50 years will only drink this brand. I fluctuate between this and the Cruz De Malta. I will cover my experience with drinking flavored Yerba in the next post.
I recommend if you have a chance to check out the Organic its got a awesome taste to it, I will include some pics of it in here.

A Great Tea To Enjoy White Tea

White tea gives off a unique flavor the silver needle tips create a sweet aroma. The caffeine is extremely low so you could drink multiple cups of this type of tea and not have to worry about anything happening to you. Silver needle white tea is harder to locate but its well worth it.

Darjeling Tea

This tea has a very unique flavor. Its very relaxing not strong, not perfumed and fills your mouth with a wonderful taste. I personally prefer this type of tea without sugar and I use just a tablespoon to make a pot of tea. The Tea is rare and I acquired it one day at the Persian market near me. i was excited and when I brewed my first cup it was wonderful. The aroma is awesome and after I finish writing this I'm gonna go brew a cup.

Barrooti Tea

Sweet Or Sour? Well I gotta tell you that this tea is absolutely fabulous. It is not seasoned to strong and doesn't give off the strong perfumed scent like the Ahmed Tea does. I recommend the Barrooti. Two Thumbs Up.

A picture I Found

Sugar Cubes?

I posted a picture of these in my last post. But I wonder are they the same as the Shahrazad brand or do they have a sweeter taste. I know sugars sugar but still it opens up a good argument over what they taste like. I also wonder if they are the real hard sugary ones or are they loose and do they just dissolve quickly.

Turkish Teas

They carry a very distinct flavor and provide a wonderful experience. Some peopple like one sugar and others put 2 or 3 in. It all depends on your own personal preference.

The Tea I'm Drinkin

I am a huge fan of Yerba Mate. It's got a not so great taste but the upside of it is that the caffeine in it does not cause twitching, sweaty hands, or shaking hands. Instead it gives you a positive rush of energy and it makes a great alternative to coffee. The tea is very special and requires a bit of preparation before drinking it.
* Fill the Maté cup with Yerba Maté up to 3/4 of its capacity. A variation that will give you more tea per infusion and a less potent taste is to fill the Maté cup only half way, or even a little less than that.
* Pour some hot water in until it nearly fills the cup. Don't worry if some of the leaves remain dry, floating on the top. They will eventually absorb water in subsequent infusions.
* Let it stand a few seconds and replenish with hot water when the previous one is absorbed by the dry Maté leaves.
* When the water is not absorbed anymore, close the bombilla's "mouthpiece" with your thumb and insert it firmly into the Maté.
Make SURE that the gourd you choose fits your schedule. Some gourds require alot more cleansing a curing then others so you got to be careful with your choice. Yerba Mate also puts out a distinct aroma depending on the type of Yerba Mate that you choose to drink. I will talk more about the good kinds of Yerba to drink and the bad kinds.
